Our Story

It all started in Lausanne, Switzerland, with a simple yet unkept promise. A friend pledged a handmade ring for Alex's 30st birthday, yet the cherished gift never came to be. Determined not to let a missed gift rain on his parade, he decided, "I'll make my own darn ring!".

So he went all-in, bought silversmithing gear, but fell victim to the ancient art of procrastination. Until Stefan, a kindred spirit & childhood friend, strolls in, 2 years later, intrigued by crafting silver rings. That day, in 2022, in Alex’s small studio, fueled by coffee and stubbornness, we embarked on a twelve (deka-dyo) hours silver ring-making rollercoaster. You can imagine the two of us trying to figure out how we could create a ring from a simple piece of silver. We did a lot of trials, mistakes, until we started to get THE piece we wanted, at 1.00 in the morning.

In 2023, we packed our tools and dreams journeying towards Baleal, Portugal. To be able to enjoy the sun, surf some waves and enjoy a simpler life. All the pieces are still handcrafted by the two of us. After 1.5 year, in 2024, Alex went back to his home in Switzerland. We now craft the rings between Portugal and Switzerland.

What started as a quest to fulfill a birthday wish evolved into a partnership dedicated to creating timeless pieces that speak of craftsmanship and enduring friendship.
